Testing for Targeted Treatment
We use testing as well as thorough in-depth case taking and clinical analysis to find you answers and provide targeted root-cause treatment.
Gut Microbiome Testing
This shows the general health of your microbiome, and can detect pathogenic bacterial overgrowths, parasites, and give a good idea of overall digestive health. This is a stool test. The testing kit is sent to your home, where you can conduct the test and mail it back.
In Australia we use the Microba Comprehensive Explorer, which utilises the most advanced gut microbiome testing technology available - metagenomics shotgun sequencing. This is testing for identification of pathogenic bacteria, pathogenic parasites, fungi species, presence and relative abundance of bacterial species, diagnostic gastrointestinal markers, intestinal inflammation, intestinal barrier, detox/retox, systemic inflammation, motility and digestive secretions.
Internationally, we use the GI360 Complete test. This includes PCR - microbiome diversity and abundance; PCR - viruses, pathogens and parasites; Microscopy - expanded parasitology; bacterial and fungal culturomics with direct susceptibilities, Stool Chemistries - short chain fatty acids, inflammation markers, secretory IgA, digestive markers (inc. Elastase and fat stain), beta glucoronidase. Everything we need to know what's going on in the gut and give us comprehensive answers for treatment.
The gut microbiome test is a stool test done at home.

SIBO Testing
If we think your symptoms may be due to SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth), we can order this test for you and it will be sent to your home, where you can do the test and mail it back.
This is a breath test you do at home.

Pathology Testing
We can order pathology testing directly in Australia and the US, however it is an out-of-pocket expense. But a good option if you don’t want to go through your GP or they are unwilling to do the testing.

Adrenal & Hormone Testing
Feeling burnt out? Irregular cycles? This test is an in-depth look at hormones and their detox/methylation pathways as well as the cortisol rhythm over the day. Testing both the hormones & cortisol levels can give us invaluable insight into whats going on & what treatments would help correct the issues.
This is a urine and saliva test you do at home.
