Dealing with food sensitivities, intolerance, allergies and celiac disease isn’t easy. Removing foods from you diet ain’t easy.
What is easy is falling into overwhelm and focusing on the huge list of foods you CAN’T eat, walking the isles of the supermarket in tears because you can’t find anything that’s safe to eat.
Our mind gets so focused on the CAN’T list, that we never even stop to think about the CAN list.
When you start thinking this way, it’s so easy to fall into the woe-is-me/why me state, and even justify cheating.
After being diagnosed with celiac disease about 5 years ago and having to remove gluten, then developing sensitivities to dairy, corn, rice, all grains and a ton of other foods and then doing the really strict nutritional healing diet that is Gerson therapy – I’ve gotten REALLY good at removing foods and doing ‘special diets’.
