Are you out of balance?
Most people don’t even stop to think about it, but when they do they realise “huh, I guess I am”. We’re too busy trying to numb ourselves and avoid actually acknowledging what we’re feeling, that we’re either running away from it with “busyness”, or we’re checking out altogether with exhaustion.
I know I’m out of balance when I’m just feeling off. Like I don’t if I’m coming or going, I don’t have solid feet on the ground, I feel a bit lost, a bit overwhelmed, or really feeling anything that’s not solid, flowing, motivated, calm and just plain happy.
The trick to staying in balance: check yourself before you wreck yourself.
