How are you doing with those super boring health basics? I know, it’s so easy to get really excited and pin all your healing hopes about fancy superfoods and cutting-edge supplements and even things like coffee enemas.
But are you doing those super basic things that you KNOW you should be doing?
Are you drinking enough water? How much sleep are you getting? Where are you out of balance?
None of those “advanced strategies” will work nearly as well if you’re not doing these basics.
We’re so busy searching for something that will heal us, that we forget to do these boring basics.
And so often we already instinctively know what we need to be doing, if we’d just slow down, take a breath, and listen.
When I ask clients about how much water they’re drinking and sleep, I can see their eyes glaze. They don’t want to talk about those boring things, but at the same time, they’re not doing them and they know they should be.
It’s so much easier to search for the magic bullet, than to really work on those basic things that you’re going to need to do every single day.
Don’t go searching for things to help heal you if you’re not doing these basics things REALLY WELL and CONSISTENTLY.
