This recipe is extremely simple, yes. But that doesn’t discount it’s deliciousness (or my gluten-free food genius).
Ever since starting the Gerson therapy 1.5 months ago, and even now with my slightly-more-varied but still unbeleivabley-simple diet, I have really really missed creating recipes – experimenting, testing, the brain sparks of new ideas, the excitement of totally nailing a recipe (and getting to eat a crazy delicious meal), editing the photos and finding a winner.
Not being able to do that has felt like a piece of me has been missing. My creativity has been desperately searching for another outlet, but to me nothing compares. What I’d give to be able to learn to be a professional chef! But sadly, I think celiac disease (and my inability to even touch gluten) has dashed those dreams. Read the rest of this post »
