I was wondering what your opinion on fruit-based diets like 801010 or RawTill4 is? Do you think those copious amounts of fruit are healthy whilst excluding other important food groups like nuts, seeds and healthy fats (only tiny amounts are “allowed”), whole grains, legumes and starchy tubers like potatoes (in the case of 801010)?

I haven’t read the 80/10/10 book, but the gist of it is simple:
The 80/10/10 diet promoted by Dr. Douglas Graham is a low-fat, raw vegan diet where you get 80% of your total calories from carbohydrates (mostly sweet fruit, but also a small amount from vegetables and greens), and 10% from fat and protein each.
Of course eating lots of raw fruits and veggies is a good thing, but…
